It's encouraging to see this is in the news to make folks more aware and, hopefully, understanding.

I corresponded a bit with Donnica Moore a few years ago, when Jamie was very sick. I don't know why she didn't mention this at all in the interview (perhaps they thought she'd have more credibility as an outside medical professional), but her son has CFS. His started with Lyme. They live near us, in NJ, and her son is the same age as Jamie (plus they're both soccer players). So, she and I had traded stories a few years ago, when I was looking for support and advice. I think I heard that her son is doing a bit better these days - he's also been on TV morning shows and featured in the Faces Of CFS photo exhibit that's touring the country. I guess that once his underlying Lyme infection was diagnosed, he improved with treatment.
